What is Compounding?
Compounding is the art of making customized prescription medications to improve a patient’s experience with their health care provider’s treatment plan.
We can often provide vegan, sugar-free, and gluten-free alternatives to commercially available medications. Medications may be available in alternative dosage forms to fit better with a patient’s lifestyle, accommodate for special needs, or eliminate side-effects.
Compounding Pharmacies can make medications that are:
- Discontinued or difficult to find
- Easier to use
- Allergy friendly
- The patient’s exact dosage
Do you bill insurance?
Many insurance companies are covering less and less prescription medications. To keep our prices low, we cut out the overhead cost of billing all insurances.
However, we include a Universal Claim Form with all prescriptions, which can be submitted to your insurance company directly by you to receive possible reimbursement.
This way, you aren’t paying for other people’s prescriptions to be covered by insurance!
Do you mail prescriptions?
Yes, we are able to ship anywhere in the state of Washington!
We offer both regular and priority shipping through USPS. We love to see you, but we are more than happy to mail your prescription for your convenience!
How can I dispose of expired or unused prescription medications?
Contact us to find a pharmacy near you that takes old/expired/unused medications, or take them to your nearest police department on National Take Back Day! National Take Back Day occurs twice a year, usually in April and October.
